Please pray for the sick in our parish and those who have died.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As we enter the final phase of Lent, and our thoughts turn more and more to the Passion of the Lord, we continue the custom of veiling all crucifixes and images, as a sign of mourning.  The crucifixes remain covered until after the Liturgy of Good Friday, the images until the Easter Vigil; votive candles are not burned before veiled images.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The new sets of offertory envelopes are available at the back of church.  If you currently do not have a set and would like one, please see Fr Sharp.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------If you would like to help decorate the church at Easter, please put your donation on the plate at the back of church.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Help Needed.  If you are able to give some time to help polish the brass- and silverware during the week in preparation for Easter, it would be greatly appreciated; please speak to Fr Sharp.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Next Sunday is Palm Sunday.  Weather permitting, the Sunday morning Mass will begin on the patch of grass outside the sacristy and church corridor, from where we shall process into the church.

Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday will be at 7.30 pm, followed by the Watching at the Altar of Repose until 9.00 pm.

The Liturgy of Good Friday will be at 3.00 pm.  Stations of the Cross and Veneration of the Relic of the True Cross will be at 7.30 pm

The Easter Vigil will again, weather permitting, begin outside at 8.00 pm and lead into the Mass of the Resurrection.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last Week’s Collection: £331.78.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will be from 29th May to 5th June.  Booking forms are available in the church porch.  Application forms for sick pilgrims are obtainable from Miss Elizabeth McDonald, 210 Somerville Road, Small Heath, Birmingham, B10 9HB.
